Visit the garden all year round
The names of those taken by violent crime are inscribed on the bricks that line the walkway of the garden, reflecting the memories of those who are forever etched on our hearts. The garden provides the opportunity to reflect on the special memories and years spent with loved ones, and its tranquility gives the sense of a hopeful future.

Submit a Brick Application
For no charge, we offer the opportunity for family and friends to memorialize their loved ones taken by violent crimes with a memorial brick in the NCVAN Crime Victims' Memorial Garden.
The NCVAN Garden is maintained and sustained solely by donors. Please consider a gift to cover the cost of each brick placed in the garden (suggested amount is $35). No donation is too small and all amounts are appreciated. We do not want the lack of funds to be a barrier for anyone who requests a brick, so if you are unable to contribute at this time, please move forward with submitting your application and we will gladly process it. If you are able to give more than the cost of one brick, the additional funds will be applied to bricks for families who were unable to give at the time of their application. Thank you for your support.
** Note: This is an application process. Only applications of deaths investigated as a homicide and ruled as such by law enforcement will be approved.
